Hi there!!!
I´m working with a dspic33EP256MU810 whit flash memory divided into General memory segment (For Program code) and Auxiliary Memory segment. With a bootloader firmware the application code is loaded in the General segment and system´s parametters are loaded in the Aux segment. When the application runs for the first time, the parametters loaded are writtened to an external EEPROM in order to handle information dinamically. I want to guard protect the Aux memory (Genral segment Code guard protected too but here isnt the problem) but the issue is, as especified in the dspic33 user reference manual, table read instructions can´t be executed from the general segment to read data within the aux segment if it is code guard protected.

I´m not sure but, modifing the linker/gls file, can I create/allocate a new segment in the Aux segment and code guard protect it independently of the other segments??
