Your EasyPIC 7 board has an ICD connector which connects to one of the MCHP tools such as ICD3 and you can programm and debug your
mE code in MPLABx by using the COFF file

Hi Eramus
I have downloaded a program in the PIC 8 bit PIC18F47K40 microcontroller using PIC kit 3 through X-IDE , but we have programmed the program using Mikro- C, we generated the COFF file and the Hex file , we are able to download the file , but are not able to debug it using MPLAB X-IDE ,, as the coff file imported in X-IDE is being viewed as an Binary file ..

Secondly PIC development Board Easy PIC does not support PIC18F47K40 , the device is visible in the target list of the latest version of the compiler but I am not able to either download or Debug the software ..

We tried programming PIC18f47K40 with mikroProg suite 2.51, but it is not able to detect the ic. We are able to program the PIC with MPLAB X IDE and PICKIT3, which means the ic is working fine. Please guide us. We are really stucked.
