Hello

SD card is the only defined external storage media currently present, but since there are code placeholders you could fill in, you can easily turn it to anything you like - so don't be deceived by the item's name, it can be any external media

Best regards

Hi

Writing a routine to get the data off the FLASH should be fairly easy. The problem is to put the data IN the flash memory. The routine would have to load the data to the flash before you try to read it. I'd do that with the another program, separate from your project, so the display routine would contain only the code for reading. That is why only MMC is supported - it's easy to store the data to it, by the means of simple MMC card reader connected to PC.
I will try to do that in the next few days (probably over the weekend) and I will post the code here, once I am finished.
You can do it yourself too, by studying the flash example of the mikromedia for PIC18FJ. Reading and writing is simple task of using SPI.

Best regards
