I've started working with MikroC for Pic, but the problem is that i can't compile anything with it, and the code can't be wrong because is one of the help codes, i had created one using the LCD but i didn't work afterward i tested in other computer and it worked. What would be the problem?. the compilation report show me one telling me (finished with errors) 'error message 102'.

i hope somebody could help me, i need the program to develop my projects because it's easier use the libraries and we've been working with it. Thanks a lot

Hello,

Can I ask you to send your project packed as a .zip archive ? You can attach it to your message, so I can see what is going on with it.
Thanks and best regards.

Hello,

Well I do not have problems compiling your test project either.
I see that you use 6.4 version of the compiler ? What was the other version you were trying to use ?
You could try to select only the required libraries if you absolutely want to stay with the 6.4 version of the compiler (LCD and LCD_Constants libraries, possibly later ADC library, as I can see in your project) Otherwise it would be smart to get the latest version.

You can download the 7.1.0 version and try compiling with that one, from this LINK.

There is also an option to check your search paths, (shortcut SHIFT+CTRL+P), make sure that you have the correct paths inside of it:
- INSTALLATION PATH\mikroBasic PRO for PIC\Defs\
- INSTALLATION PATH\mikroBasic PRO for PIC\uses\P16\
- YOUR CURRENT PROJECT PATH\ (e.g. D:\MikroProjects\Voltimeter\)

Also you could try installing the compiler with admin rights - right click on the installation icon and select "Run as Administrator"

Best regards
