procedure Test
var
txt :array[8] of char;
N :dword;
begin
UART1_Write_Text('12345678: $');
N := $12345678;
LongWordToHex(N, txt);
UART1_Write_Text(txt);
end;

Running the code above on a Pic18LF26K42 outputs "12345678: $" on a terminal.
Should be "12345678: $12345678".
Looks like LongWordToHex just outputs a null string.
I'm using version 7.2.0 of microPascalPro.

See this topic. Answer to your problem is the same as there. Simply put, mP PRO is not ready yet for K42 processors.

Thanks Janni.
I saw the other post a few minutes after my post.
Long day, eyes fuzzy, missed it initially.
Hopefully the 18LF26K42 support shows up in the near future.
Thanks for the reply.

Well, there's not that much that needs fixing for K42 processors but most probably developers have already moved to another set of compilers and won't go back to 8-bit PICs within next year or so :( . At least that's been the way of things for last few years.
